Coverage Map
A visual representation of where a carrier's network signal reaches, often shown by strength or generation (4G/5G/3G).
Carrier-published coverage maps are a useful starting point but tend to overstate real-world performance in remote areas like national parks — actual signal depends on terrain, elevation, and proximity to the nearest tower far more than a shaded map suggests. Destination-specific coverage notes, like the park-by-park guides on this site, are more reliable for safari planning than a national coverage map alone.
